To create a shipment through Packlink, follow the steps below:
- Access Packlink.
- On the Send package tab, enter the origin and destination postcodes. By default, the system will show: United Kingdom, but you can change it to the country of your choice.
- Enter the weight in kilos and the measurements in centimetres of the package/envelope (already packed). If your shipment includes more packages, click Add another package.
- Click the Ship now button and the search engine will show you the available services and their prices.
- If you want to filter the results, click Filter your shipping preferences at the top right of the page. This will automatically open a panel with the available filters.
- Choose the service you want to purchase and click Details for more information about the service.
- Once you have chosen your service, click Book Now.
- In the Shipment Details section, fill in the following fields:
- Content.
- Value.
- First name.
- Last name.
- Email.
- If you wish to add extra protection to your shipment, tick the corresponding box. Otherwise, tick the option that says "I'm willing to risk my shipments".
- Verify that the information you have entered is correct and click Continue.
- In the Address Details section, complete the following fields:
- Sender's and recipient's first and last name.
- Origin and destination address.
- Company (optional). This field should only be completed with the name of a company or business. If the shipment is addressed to an individual, leave it empty. Do not add additional information such as "VAT-TAX ID number", "house", "flat", "drop off at front desk" or "pick up in the morning", as this may cause incidents in the collection or delivery of the shipment.
- Sender's and recipient's phone numbers.
- Sender's and recipient's emails.
- Date and collection time (if the service includes it).
- Accept Packlink's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, as well as the Transport Agency's Terms and Conditions.
- Verify that the information you have entered is correct and click Continue.
- In the Payment Details section, tick the box if you would like a VAT invoice for your shipment.
- Select and enter your payment method details: debit/credit card or PayPal.
- If you have a promo code, enter it in the corresponding field and click Add.
- Finally, click Pay.
All done! In a few minutes you will receive a confirmation email with your order details and a shipping label or address sheet (depending on the service you have purchased).

You must always accurately indicate the weight/measurements of the package/envelope and not estimate this information. Under-declaring weights and measurements on your order may cause delays and/or additional charges.
