Does Packlink offer a Dropshipping service?

No, Packlink does not offer a dropshipping service. Our platform allows you to manage and book domestic and international shipments with different carriers to optimise your shipping logistics. However, it does not store or pack products, nor does it supply goods.

What is Dropshipping and why does Packlink not offer this Service?

Dropshipping is an online sales model where a store sells products without needing to store them or manage their shipping directly. This process can be summarised in three steps:

1. The customer makes a purchase in an online store.
2. The store processes the order with its supplier, which can be a manufacturer, a wholesaler or another seller.
3. The supplier prepares and ships the product directly to the final customer, without the goods passing through the store's facilities.

Therefore, the store manages sales and communication with its customers, while the supplier is responsible for storing products, packing the items, preparing orders and managing the shipment to the final customer.

At Packlink, we do not offer a dropshipping service for the following reasons:

• We do not stock products. We do not manufacture, buy or store items to sell on behalf of our users.
• The user must prepare the parcel. The person booking the shipment is responsible for packing the goods, printing the label and handing the parcel over to the carrier, either by dropping it off at a drop-off point or via a home collection (depending on the service you have chosen).
