If you send a prohibited item, this may be retained or even destroyed.
There are prohibited items that cannot be transported by any carriers. In most cases, these prohibited items are those whose circulation is banned by local or international laws.
The content that you declare when you finalise your order with Packlink is not verified by us, nor does Packlink handle the shipment at any time. As a result, it is extremely important to know that you are the sole responsible for verifying that the content of your shipment is compliant with the law.
If a prohibited or non-compensation item is picked up, the carrier may hold it at any national or international depot so that the customer can collect it on their own. Unfortunately, Packlink will not collaborate on the resolution of such incidents, since none of the companies available through our platform allow these articles. If such items are sent via Packlink, additional charges might apply due to the shipping on this type of goods (storage, clearance on a safe deposit, etc.).
Additionally, to the listed items, both prohibited and non-compensation, each carrier may have their own limitations to the ones listed on our website. For this reason, we strongly recommend you to check the terms and services of the carriers you selected for your shipment. Carriers' Terms and conditions are always available before finalising the order on Packlink.
Packlink will not accept any claim regarding delays and/or additional charges imputable to the holding or destruction of prohibited or non-compensation items.
