If you see the status Missing documentation as the last tracking update for your shipment, it means that your goods can’t be dispatched from Customs to be correctly sent to the destination country, because some documents are incomplete or they are missing.
This status may refer to some issues with the Customs Invoice, such as:
- The invoice hasn’t arrived along with the goods to the transportation facilities (sometimes they can come off the box).
- The invoice you’ve provided is incorrect or incomplete (incorrect/missing information and/or signature).
- After checking your invoice, the customs agent confirms that you need to provide more documentation (Declaration of dual use, CITES Declaration, permissions for exporting goods, etc.).
If, after checking the tracking of your shipment, the status Missing documentation is displayed, please contact the Packlink Customer Service team by submitting a request via the support page and choosing the option Tracking. Our agents will get in touch with the carrier and reply to your enquiry, providing more information about the status of your shipment.
