Yes, sending personal items is permitted. Please note that even if they are your belongings, the export must be officially declared at customs. Therefore, you will need to fill in a Customs Invoice.
Shipments to Chile are quite complex, as its Customs is very restrictive. For this reason, it is essential that you check Chile's import policy, without making any mistakes when filling in the required documents, before sending your goods.

Export clearance (Single Administrative Document - SAD) is included in the service. However, please note that at the destination you must pay the taxes incurred to release the goods.
If the value of the shipment exceeds 1000 USD (US dollars), you will need to hire an external Customs broker (other than the transportation company), who will be responsible for the management and release of the goods.
